Description

This is a transparent acrylic case that can provide protection for your Jetson Nano. It has an internal cooling fan to provide better heat dissipation when you use your Jetson Nano for more demanding tasks. Also, the dual antenna mounts allow you to install additional external antennas to experience better wireless signal strength. However, these antennas are not included in the package. The case comes with three additional buttons that can be used to power, reset and factory reset your Jetson Nano very easily. There are two camera holders on top of the case, and you can connect cameras that are supported by Jetson Nano to realize machine vision projects. Also, you can easily access the Jetson Nano GPIO using the side openings of this case.

Installation Guide

Before installing this case, please have a look at the pin positions on the Jetson Nano Developer Kit according to the following diagram.

Now, start assembling the case.

Since this case offers a power button, reset button, and FR mode button, you need to disable the “AUTO ON” function by inserting one jumper cap into the “AUTO ON” and “DISABLE” pins of the J50 pinout to disable it.

Another Jumper cap is used to toggle the power supply between Micro-USB and DC Jack. Insert this jumper cap into “J48” pinout to disable Micro-USB power (enable the DC 5V 4A jack PWR).

The power button should be inserted into the “PWR BTN” and “GND” pins of J50.

The reset button should be inserted into the “SYS RST” and “GND” pins of J50.
